Beginning with an overview of what material ingredients should be of concern to practitioners, they then move on to where chemicals of concern are found in the built environment, using the Green Science Policy Institute's Six Classes approach. They will offer proven strategies for selecting and managing the use of healthier building products. Participants will leave knowing answers to the questions “what does "healthier" materials mean?”, “what do I need to know to spec healthier materials?” and “which materials should I use?”.
