This introductory session for homeowners, buyers, renovators and others with an interest in energy-efficient homes includes an overview of high-performance homes, Zero-Energy, LEED, and the Passive House standard, as well as a cost/benefit guide to understanding home performance decisions and lessons learned in energy-efficient living from an building expert and high-performance homeowner.

Donald Grose has designed and constructed more than 60 energy-efficient, high-performance single-family homes in the United States and internationally, as well as award-winning remodeling and renovation projects, law offices, retail stores, and health care facilities. He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, and the International Living Future Institute. He’s an adjunct faculty member of Boston Architectural College.
